Words of appreciation From Simple Finance graduates to all volunteers
The first half-year is now behind us, especially under the Krungsri Simple Finance Project, where Krungsri volunteers shared knowledge with juniors at the vocational and higher vocational levels. The latest 40 graduates, majoring in Information & Technology and Business Computer at the Thonburi Commercial College, were an impressed bunch!. We salute all the volunteers.

The first half-year is now behind us, especially under the Krungsri Simple Finance Project, where Krungsri volunteers shared knowledge with juniors at the vocational and higher vocational levels. The latest graduates, majoring in retail commerce at the Chetupon Commercial College, were an impressed bunch! In fact, some requested course extension (an excuse for seeing the volunteers more).
Besides the two groups of students, we’re adding a class for vendors and hawkers of Siriraj Market, who should benefit from the principles of saving, borrowing, and making money go to work for them without having to rely on illegal lending schemes.
Krungsri Smart Finance: Make Life Simple for vocational students
At Thonburi Commercial College, under the Krungsri Smart Finance Project, the second term of this academic year has now passed. Our volunteers have successfully delivered training to 72 junior and senior vocational students at the college who attended all the modules; and have recently received their certificates accordingly.
The first half of academic year 1/2012 was over under Krungsri Simple Finance Project, in which some 60 Krungsri volunteers shared financial knowledge with 227 senior students of the Thonburi and the Chetupon Commercial Colleges.
On September 13 at the Krungsri Volunteer Thank You Party, Khun Pornsanong Tuchinda presented each of the volunteers with a plaque in appreciation of their assistance.

“Krungsri Simple Finance” is our signature project aiming at the utilization of our business and employees’ expertise to educate the vocational school senior-year students who could benefit greatly from the program. The course was designed to instill basic financial knowledge and to create awareness of responsible lending and saving skills for more vulnerable people. Krungsri Group has been working with the Office of Vocational Education Commission (OVEC) to equip those in need with basic financial literacy. Our volunteers have devoted their time and energy to teach the students. To make this project sustainable, we also conducted ‘Train the Trainer Program’ for staffs of OVEC, so that they can continue the training on their own when our volunteers move on to initiate training at other schools when they are ready.
