Krungsri unites to donate blood in fighting COVID-19

Mr. Seiichiro Akita, Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer, led Krungsri executives and staff in donating blood to the National Blood Center, Thai Red Cross Society, wherein blood supplies are dangerously low, a situation impacts more than 160 hospitals nationwide as well as their patients. Under the “Unite to Donate Blood in Fighting COVID-19” activity, Krungsri safely carried out the blood donation process amid the COVID-19 outbreak, ensuring that all donors were eligible to donate blood. The blood donation registration was conducted online, while precautionary public health measures were strictly implemented, including body temperature checks, social distancing, etc.

The “Unite to Donate Blood in Fighting COVID-19” activity was recently organized at Krungsri Head Office, Krungsri Ploenchit Office (KSPO), Udorndhani Branch, Nong Khai Branch, Kalasin Branch, and Thanon Mittraphap Khon Kaen Branch. Around 185,600 cc. of blood was collected from 464 Krungsri people.
