QR Cross-border Payment

QR Cross-border Payment is a simple international payment service by scanning a QR code in Thailand and participating ASEAN countries. The service is suitable for foreigners travelling to Thailand and Thai tourists travelling abroad.

1. QR Cross-border Scan to Pay at Foreign Merchants

allows customers to make international payments by using Krungsri Mobile Application (KMA) to scan QR code of merchants abroad (C scan B) or to display their MyPrompt QRs on KMA for merchants to scan (B scan C). Enabling tourists to conveniently and securely make online and offline payments for goods and services while traveling abroad, the service is a true digital payment solution for travelers in the digital age.

Customers can use Krungsri’s KMA mobile application to pay for goods and services by scanning QR codes at various merchants in the following countries:

Indonesia
Malaysia
Vietnam
Singapore
Cambodia
Hong Kong
Laos

Service Details

Customers can make cross-border QR payments up to 100,000 baht per transaction, and up to 500,000 baht maximum per day.
Once the transaction is confirmed, the bank will immediately deduct the amount in Thai baht from the customer's account, based on the exchange rate at the time of the transaction.
There are no service fees.

2. Scan to Pay at Biz Mung-Mee Merchants

With the presence of QR Biz Mungmee or Thai QR Payment Logos, the international tourists can instantly scan and make payments quickly and easily by scanning a QR code. Merchants using Krungsri Biz Mungmee service can efficiently accept payments through QR code scanning, providing the convenient payment experiences and increasing their sales opportunities for businesses that are customers of Krungsri Bank.

Service Details:

Payment methods are the same as those used for payments within the country.
The maximum payment limit is subject to terms and conditions of the bank that owns the foreign customer's account making the payment.
Once the customer confirms the transaction, merchants will immediately receive the payment in their accounts.
There are no service fees.
