Bangkok (14 September 2022) – Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) moves forward to support customers’ decarbonization journey by synergizing with Zeroboard Inc., a Japanese startup company with leading technology on cloud service relating to GHG emission calculation and visualization that can cover business and supply chain areas. The MoU reaffirms Krungsri’s commitment in being a trusted partner to corporate customers in assisting them through the journey towards decarbonization.
The signing ceremony was held on September 13, 2022. Mr. Seiichiro Akita, Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Yoshiyuki Horio, Krungsri Head of Japanese and Multinational Corporate Banking (JPC/MNC), and Mr. Michitaka Tokeiji, CEO of Zeroboard Inc. participated as the representatives of each organization. This MoU was concluded in order to promote GHG emission reduction in Thailand and aims to expand to ASEAN. Krungsri will introduce Zeroboard to Krungsri corporate customers while Zeroboard will provide GHG emissions calculation and visualization service in all scopes; electricity usage, energy usage in production line, waste treatment and supply chain. Krungsri is also ready to support customers with solutions relating to GHG emissions and financial supports on decarbonization implementation, such as ESG finance, supply chain finance, etc.

In Japan, MUFG and Zeroboard have jointly provided services to support decarbonization management to more than 200 companies since end of last year. I am pleased that we are now able to extend such services to our customers in Thailand. With Zeroboard technology and our financial services, we believe that Krungsri will be able to support our customers’ efficient decarbonization journey by introducing an advanced technology of GHG emission calculation and visualization in all scopes, especially in supply chain area which is particularly very challenging to manage.”

Zeroboard has been partnering with of MUFG since November 2021 and providing the service to MUFG customers to support their decarbonization management all around Japan.
