‘The Asset Triple A Sustainable Capital Markets Country & Regional Awards 2020’ organized by
The Asset, the leading magazine focusing on financial operation excellence and investment. This year, Sustainability Award category has been added.
Krungsri’s role was to be an advisor and joint bond underwriter for government and corporate bonds, the feedback of such was overwhelming. The 5 prestigious awards Krungsri was recognized were as follows:
- Thailand’s Best Sustainability Bond, awarded to Sustainability Bond, value of THB 30 billion by Public Debt Management Office, Ministry of Finance.
- Thailand’s Best Green Bond, awarded to Green Bond, value of THB 5 billion by Global Power Synergy PCL (GPSC).
- Thailand’s Best Retail Bond, awarded to Green Bond, value of THB 15 Billion by PTT PLC.
- Regional’s Best Sustainability Bond, awarded to Sustainability Bond, value of THB 50 billion by Public Debt Management Office, Ministry of Finance.
- Regional’s Best Local Currency Green Bond awarded to Green Bond, value of THB 8 billion by Ratch Group PCL.
The 5 awards represent Krungsri’s commitment to supporting the business principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). Krungsri has developed a complete array of financial products for ESG-related business, in particular, capital raising tools through bonds, to be alternatives for Thai corporate customers.
