Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL), committed to its aspiration of being “The Leading Sustainable and Regional Bank," celebrated businesses championing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles at the second annual
Krungsri ESG Awards. The awards recognized exemplary businesses for their effectively implemented ESG frameworks into their operations. Additionally, certificates were awarded to companies that participated in and successfully completed the inaugural Krungsri ESG Academy 2024, a comprehensive training program designed to enhance sustainable business development.

In its second consecutive years, Krungsri ESG Awards continues to recognize businesses demonstrating sustainable progress aligned with Krungsri’s commitment to ESG excellence. This year, Krungsri also launched the inaugural Krungsri ESG Academy 2024, an exclusive training course in partnership with leading experts from the Centre for SDG Research and Support (SDG Move) at the Faculty of Economics, Thammasat University. This comprehensive program provided SMEs with holistic insights into ESG topics such as supply chain management, climate change management, risk and crisis management, green business strategies aligned with Thailand Taxonomy, and developing business plans according to the ESG framework (Transition Plan). Through this program, the participants also gained access to trusted ESG networks, expanding their opportunities for both domestic and international growth.
At the event, Krungsri and the adjudication committee presented certificates to 37 Krungsri ESG Academy graduates in 2024 and recognized 25 businesses with Krungsri ESG Awards. These included five Excellence Awards for outstanding businesses utilising Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, and 20 Highly Commended ESG Performance Awards for acclaiming businesses that initiate and implement good practices in all three ESG dimensions.
