Bangkok (2 December 2019) – Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) joined forces with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) to successfully organize Krungsri-MUFG Business Matching Fair 2019, the largest business matching fair organized outside Japan by MUFG. The event marked a successful result with the number of matches reaching more than 400 pairs of business partners, while the number of participants from Thailand, Japan, and ASEAN countries increased to more than 200 companies. This year’s business matching activities were extended to more diverse sectors, ranging from the food and beverage, consumer products, real estate, construction materials, auto and medical devices and digital technology, to new joiners in tourism and education sectors.
At the event, Mr. Seiichiro Akita (4th left), Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Pornsanong Tuchinda (3rd left), Krungsri Head of Commercial Banking, together with Mr. Makoto Kobayashi (3rd right), Managing Executive Officer, Head of Financial Solution Group of MUFG Bank, and Krungsri executives welcomed Krungsri’s customers. Mr. Chokedee Kaewsang (4th right), Deputy Secretary General of Thailand’s Board of Investment, also featured in the reception.
The successful business event, Krungsri-MUFG Business Matching 2019, which was organized in Bangkok for the seventh year, emphasized Krungsri’s commitment to support the growth opportunities for Thai enterpreneurs, as part of Krungsri’s mission to connect Thai companies with Japanese business and ASEAN partners, and underscore synergies between Krungsri’s local expertise and MUFG’s global network. The event was also part of Krungsri’s Business Empowerment, the value-added services to provide knowledge and business networks to enhance business opportunities for Krungsri’s corporate customers.
